I hadn’t heard of the Italian word, ‘frociaggine’ until Pope Francis used it, twice, to decry queer behavior amongst the curia. As a recovering Catholic, the word stirred me.
Alex threw this plate and I’ve painted it with translucent underglaze on the front and back. It is food-safe, and the speckled clay reminds me or charcuterie and would enliven any sausage party. Hand wash.
